This course The Many Faces of Pastel gave me a lot of information about the world of pastels and how to use pastels In different ways. Juna is an amazing artist and an excellent teacher. Thank you for letting me be part of these courses.
I loved The Many Faces of Charcoal! I had never done any work with charcoal before and I’m relatively new to drawing portraits! I learned sooo much! Juna is a wonderful teacher who gives you step by step directions with attention to placement of facial features and shading! A friend challenged me to share my artwork on social media for seven days. So, I did one of the lessons each day. It was the highlight of my day! I loved every minute of it!
Let me just start with “I love Juna’s classes” and The Many Faces of Pastel is no exception. I learned so much in each lesson and am able to carry the techniques into all of my other work. Juna is an outstanding teacher. Her lessons are very thorough and so well executed. I love that she works in real time and explains each step of the process. An important part of Juna’s classes is the private Facebook group where students can upload their work and get valuable feedback from Juna. This attention to each student is another feature that makes the experience of being in one of Juna’s classes worth every penny and more. Thank you Juna for providing such wonderful learning opportunities.
The Many Faces of Pastel is an incredible course! I learned all about the different types of pastel, and how to make the most of them. I loved creating a portrait with soft pastel and how it differs from hard pastels, and I especially loved the final project where we used the transfer technique. Juna explains things so thoroughly, and offers so much insight, not only in using pastels, but in creating portraits in general. Much of the information learned can be used in creating portraits in many different mediums. I would definitely recommend The Many Faces of Pastel to anyone who wants to learn how to use pastels, and how to draw and paint portraits. Absolutely loved this course!
I enjoyed this rich and diverse course, The Many Faces of Pastel, very much. Rediscovering soft pastels after many years, I was surprised by the possibilities and the different ways that Juna showed us to apply it. The presentation was excellent; the instructions clear and thorough; the feedback serious, pertinent and useful, expressed in the most kind and encouraging way. With this course I enriched my practice and learned to think out of the box, to use pastel in unconventional, exciting ways. Yes, I would definitely highly recommend this course.
I loved The Many Faces of Pastel, Juna. Felt like I was right next to you as you did the lessons. There was a great connection to everyone in the class sharing their work and comments on Facebook.
Juna’s feedback was awesome as usual. I really liked the lesson working with hard pastels on Mi-Teintes paper. The lesson with 1 pastel pencil making a drawing like the photo was wonderful. Great directions measuring features to be like photos. Mono printing was fun too. I recommend this class to everyone wanting to draw with pastels. Lots of info on making surfaces to work on and creative expression. Thank you Juna for your wonderful class.
I allways get inspired by Juna’s teaching. I love her art, all those beautiful and soulful paintings of hers. In this course, The Many Faces of Pastel, she let us know her secrets and the techniques she has been using in her own paintings. She will be teaching you with love and support. I have learned to be patient and trust the process. I really recommend to take this or any other of her courses.
The Many Faces of Pastel is a very instructive course that teaches many new pastel techniques. I highly recommend it. The course is in English, but even if you do not speak English but only understand it, it’s still easy to follow. And Facebook has a translate function, so that is no problem. The Many Faces of Pastel is a unique course that I thoroughly enjoyed!
I did all Juna’s courses and every time I learned new things. They are very diverse with beautiful results. I usely paint with acrylics, but after following the courses of Juna I’m addicted to charcoal and now after The Many Faces of Pastel to soft pastels. You won’t regret doing a course with Juna!
What a wonderful journey I have had learning portraits with pastel. I have covered materials I never thought possible with pastels and had the most amazing results. I can’t praise and recommend Juna enough, such a brilliant teacher. You will come away with so much confidence and lots of your own portraits to be proud of. Thank you so much Juna. X
The Many Faces of Pastel is the third class I’ve taken with Juna and, as always, I learned so much more than I expected. We covered the properties of soft pastels, hard pastels and pastel pencils in detail plus we looked at pan pastels. The techniques Juna taught were varied, ranging from using dry pastel on different surfaces, to painting with pastel, and even pastel monoprints.
Juna’s teaching is always excellent and she is very encouraging and honest with her feedback. I highly recommend The Many Faces of Pastel to both beginners and experienced portrait artists.
In The Many Faces of Pastel I have learned multiple new and fun techniques applicable for pastel painting. I loved all of them, easy to follow, fully documented and explained. Juna’s method is great for beginners or more experienced students. Her feedback is always kind and constructive, as well as the classmates group. I have recommended this course to my friend and she loves it as well. It was fun and interesting, the supplies were affordable and easy to grab. I’m delighted with all the techniques I will combine to find my own way. I highly recommend this course, as all Juna’s courses.
I have never used pastels before so was very happy to be able to take this class, The Many Faces of Pastel. I really like using the pastel pencils and the monoprinting technique the best.
This was my third class with Juna so I am familiar with her teaching technique and love it. The camera angle is one of the best I’ve seen for online art classes. If this is the first class that you are going to take with Juna, I strongly recommend her classes The Many Faces of Charcoal and Drawing in the Soul too.
Where to start! I have learnt so much from Juna on this course, The Many Faces of Pastel. I had only dabbled in portraits, and had little or no experience in pastels, but with the help and support of Juna, I now have worked with all the pastels in all their various guises, and drawn so many portraits that I never knew I was capable of. Ranging from a light loose exquisite face to a strong, bold one!
Throughout it all Juna has been there with her supportive and insightful advice and comments. I am set to join Juna again in the summer with her course Drawing in the Soul and can’t wait for it to start. If you enjoy your art, whether a beginner, or advanced, I recommend a course with Juna to inspire you and make your journey into a whole new art world! For sure!
The Many Faces of Pastel took me – as a beginner – beyond my wildest dreams. Within the 6 weeks of the course Juna taught us how to use pastels of all sorts in many different ways so efficiently that I still can’t believe it was me who created all those pictures. I can’t choose a favourite lesson because I enjoyed them all!
Juna’s teaching style is perfect. Everything is spot on, from the provided downloads to the videos, which are packed with information and easy to follow. The exercises for every project where you explore techniques and supplies are most helpful. Her feedback is profound and very encouraging, actually this has been my highlight of the week. Also to mention is the lovely Facebook community where you can share your work and learn a lot from others.
The best thing is, that you not just complete single projects, but get the tools and the motivation to further explore and develop your style. Many teachers promise this, but here was the first time that it really happened. So yes, I would absoutely recommend The Many Faces of Pastel and any other of Juna’s courses!
The Many Faces of Pastel is an excellent class. I have learned 6 different ways of working with hard and soft pastel and pastel pencils. Every lesson Juna explains each application with exercises an then a project. She answers every question you have and guides you along. I don’t think I could pick one favorite lesson as I enjoyed them all and got creative ideas from each. This class is well worth your money. You will have a full understanding of pastels and how fun they are. Thank you Juna!
This course, The Many Faces of Pastel, is a great way to learn many techniques using different types of pastel, even combine it with water! Definitely, this is a course that everyone who likes portraits should do. Every lesson is magical, absorbing and inspirational. Thank you Juna for this wonderful course that has change the way to draw portraits in my daily life.
I was extremely lucky to stumble on Juna Biagioni’s art courses at the start of the covid pandemic. The knowledge I have gained in The Many Faces of Pastel is beyond my wildest dreams and expectations. She is an outstanding teacher with so much experience and expert skills. She is kind and encouraging in her feedback and she fosters a creative environment to develop one’s personal style as well as integrate new skills. I have already signed up for her next course. I can’t deprive myself of not learning everything this fabulous teacher has to offer. Finding Juna was definitely a silver lining to covid for me
Juna is a superb art instructor! Her weekly exercises in The Many Faces of Pastel are pointed and educational prior to the projects. After completing her course, I no longer am afraid of pastels! I know how soft, hard and pastel pencils work! You won’t be sorry taking any of her courses! Do yourself a favor and join her next course!
I was very blessed to find a great teacher who is always giving feedback and makes me feel special. I started to draw two years ago to release stress. I never thought I could draw. I started to learn by myself, then I wanted to improve and I looked in Facebook and I started to sign up for all Juna’s classes. And I can see I have improved so much! ☺ I love all Juna’s courses and The Many Faces of Pastel is great as well! I started to use pastel before but with this course I grew more. I recommend The Many Faces of Pastel to everyone who wants to discover a new marvelous world!
I knew Juna from previous courses, so I knew she was also going to fulfill my expectations with The Many Faces of Pastel. In this course I’ve learned many other ways in wich I can use pastels. The feedback you get is always kind and constructive. Juna is an exellent teacher. The different ways of drawing portraits in pastels is also very challenging. I’ve learned to look at portraits in an other way. I recommend this course for those who would like to learn to work with pastels in different ways and want to make wonderful portraits with them.
I learned so much from The Many Faces of Pastel – from useful measuring methods to wet and dry techniques with soft and hard pastels. I knew very little about what can be done with pastels when I started, but by the end of the course I knew so much more about materials and how to use them effectively that they seemed a completely different medium to what I had expected. Juna provides useful information on different papers, types of pastel and tools and how these can be used – both treated and untreated – to create a variety of effects.
The lessons are great for all levels, clear and well explained yet giving plenty of scope for adapting the techniques to the student’s own style. I found each of the projects informative and satisfying to complete and also fun and I scanned my inbox eagerly each week for my lesson. Learning to paint with pastel pigment was a revelation.
Perhaps what stands out for me is the quality of Juna’s teaching. She is inspiring and encouraging, creating a space for her students in which they can feel safe and supported while free to experiment and make discoveries of their own about their strengths and interests. I always feel that I have gained in self confidence after Juna’s lessons. Her feedback is detailed and specific where students ask for this and she really seems to get to know and to take an interest in each individual student. I really cannot recommend this course highly enough.
I loved learning to do portraits with pastels. It helped to have the most patient and kindest instructor. Thank you Juna Biagioni for your great patience.
I love taking classes with Juna, she has an amazing way of teaching. The Many Faces of Pastel is my third class with her. I learnt to use pastel colors in different ways (techniques). If you ever want to learn how to draw portraits, she is the teacher to go to.
I thoroughly enjoyed The Many Faces of Charcoal. Charcoal is a new medium for me and Juna does a great job of explaining how to use the various forms of charcoal as well as additional helpful techniques. I loved all the lessons, but especially the ones incorporating gesso and texture. Learning how to create texture, fixing the charcoal so it doesn’t move, adding lines, using my tombow eraser more effectively, using paper towels and brushes, and being looser in my drawing were just a few of the things I learned! Juna is relaxing to listen to, the instructions are clear and the classes are fun. I highly recommend this class.
So enjoyed Juna’s course The Many Faces of Charcoal! Didn’t realise there were so many different techniques, learned so much. Thank you Juna, but not goodbye! ❤️
In Drawing in the Soul I learned to loosen up, just what I was longing for. This process was very challenging for me and still is. But I made a start now. Working with charcoal and pastel was very new (and scary) for me, so I was hesitating long time for starting this course. I also was in doubt about the level of the course, the work I had seen, if I was capable to it. But Juna’s teaching is so very soothing and clear that it all went naturally. It made me push my boundaries.
The lessons where we combined charcoal, hard pastel and soft pastel I loved the most. Working in layers, to see a face appear with emotion, feels great. I also learned not to give up quickly, take distance, start over again another moment. Making mistakes is not the end of the world. You can always change, erase or start over your drawing. Juna’s feedback was always very extensive, I was never left alone with questions.
This course changed my life, which I did not expect. When I wake up in the morning I want to rush to my easel! Drawing became my daily habit. I organised a little studio in the corner of my livingroom, it’s like a holy place for me. I highly recommend this course to everyone. It brought me so much more than I expected! Juna, thank you so much.
Juna is the best teacher of portraits I know! I have learned more from her in these past weeks than I ever could imagine. Juna is very professional and her critique is so thorough and helpful in every way. She is kind, honest and helpful and you can always ask her anything you are worried about. I liked every lesson because they were all different and exciting to try something new. I recommend Drawing in the Soul to anyone, young or old. You will never be bored and Juna will be your guidance along your journey, which you will love. I can’t wait to join a new class!
I loved Drawing in the Soul and learned a lot. I had never drawn realistic faces before so I had to start with learning proportions. The detailed lessons and useful feedback helped me gain more confidence in my drawing abilities. I also really enjoyed learning how to use new (to me) media like charcoal and pastels. My favorite lessons were the ones about line because I want to incorporate that in my future art making. The Facebook group was also very supportive and that was appreciated.
Thank you for a wonderful 12 weeks of art making, Juna! I have already recommended this course to my artists friends.
I have taken many online art courses using a variety of mediums but Drawing in the Soul is the most comprehensive and enjoyable course I have taken. Juna’s style of teaching is gentle, suggestive and organized. There is so much content in the class, printable instructions, reference photos, so much valuable information that I now have a whole binder for future reference.
It is apparent that Juna has invested many hours in preparation of the material and demonstrates her processes in real time so we can see exactly how she does her work and all the iterations she may have to go through to achieve the result she wants.
Her feedback process was extremely valuable to me. I was able to submit my work and my analysis of it so that she could provide a step-by-step guide for improvement. She was very gentle with her critiques and yet always provided detailed instruction for improvement. The hours that she must spend in providing such detailed feedback is unlike any instructor I have had to date.
Not only was the 12 week course enjoyable but I am walking away feeling like I have actually learned about technique, color, value, composition, materials and more. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who really cares about learning how to paint portraits. I will miss having this class to look forward to each week.
Drawing in the Soul exceeded all my expectations! Juna is a knowledgeable, inspiring teacher. Her expert instruction allows success for even a beginning artist, but will challenge seasoned artists as well. The projects were many and varied and provide a great opportunity to try out many mediums. Juna gently guides you through a series of well-planned lessons to learn how to create portraits using value, line, color and then the ultimate, “drawing in the soul”. In addition to the lessons, Juna provides the opportunity for detailed feedback through an incredibly effective online, interactive method. This benefits both the individual student and the entire group because it is provided for everyone in the Facebook group. I highly recommend this course if you want to learn to create portraits in many mediums, but especially if you want to learn to create that “extra” something to really capture the “soul” of a portrait.
I had 12 great weeks with Drawing in the Soul. The clear instructions and the incredible amount of information, hints, tips, and the use of different mediums and methods, were amazing. I have learned so much! I made artwork I never knew I could do!
Juna Biagioni is a great teacher… With her friendly tone of voice she explains, encourages and provides detailed and constructive feedback! I was also happy to be part of the dedicated Facebookgroup. Therefore I also learned from the artworks of the fellow studentes, and I feel I made artfriends from all over the world.
I will definitely take other courses from Juna. Warmly recommended!
Your class Drawing in the Soul surpassed all my expectations. Thank you so very much. Your instruction suited those who were just beginning as well as the students, that by their own right are truly artists.
The instructions were easily understood and included fascinating projects to enjoy. One of the eye openers for me, was to use line to create values in a portrait. Enjoyed the squiggly line exercises the most. I had two favorite exercises. Painting a portrait in monochromatic black with white and later using acrylic glazes was almost like magic to me. I had never used acrylic glazes before and I plan on using them in the future. The profile portrait done with one color using the style of pentimento “without regret” was so freeing for me. I enjoyed it immensely. In fact this project developed into the one that I am most proud of.
Your feedback was fantastic. Not only were you supportive with your remarks, you were honest. The video feedback that was provided became another learning tool for me. I read the feedback you posted for all the other artists as well. Very informative.
I have suggested your class to others. Some are just starting and others are artists. No one could take your class without learning something to use in the future.
You should be complimented for wanting to teach but not to place others in a box. You always encouraged us to find our own style through our own art journey. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
What did I learn in Drawing in the Soul? I have had many different classes on drawing a face, but this one spoke to me the most. I learned to really look at line and how much it can change a face. Line is critical. Then value, again equally important to catch the essence of the portrait. How easy it is to not see what is there, when you are focusing on line. I loved learning about glazing techniques, I had never done that before.
What was outstanding to me though was the feedback. This is where I learned the most, to see other students’ work. I would first try to figure out what was wrong, then read Juna’s input. That allowed me to grow as a student. Often I would get it, but sometimes I didn’t.
Thank you so much Juna for all that you put into the classes and it was amazing to see all your students grow online. I did sign up for your two other classes and can’t wait!
Drawing in the Soul is the best art course I have ever taken. It covers the main art concepts: value, line, colour and teaches many techniques in several media, as well as demonstrating facial proportions. Juna is a great teacher, is very encouraging and her feedback is extremely detailed and constructive. I have learned so much and have noticed that the other students in this group have improved markedly since their first posts. I would definitely recommend Drawing in the Soul to both beginners and experienced artists alike.
I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to take this course, Drawing in the Soul. In the twelve weeks I have learned so much. It flew by. At the beginning I couldn’t even draw a portrait with difficulty. Now when I see my results how everything got better from week to week. Astonishing. It is great fun all the different techniques you learn to make your portrait more active. There is certainly something for everyone’s taste. This course is highly recommended. Thank you Juna.
I highly recommend Juna’s course Drawing in the Soul. I learned a lot about techniques and supplies (charcoal, pastel, acrylic paint, oil sticks, oil pastels) and was gently pushed out of my comfort zone. I had no idea I would be able to make so many beautiful faces. The teaching process is perfectly timed and all the processes are duly explained. The feedback is really effective and the Facebook group is kind and fun. Really worthy, this is the best thing I ever did. Each week was a surprise, never boring, and nothing was impossible – even for beginners.
In Drawing in the Soul course you taught us, Juna, how to combine technical development with intuitive feelings when drawing/painting portraits. It was every time for me a miracle when a face was looking at me from the paper. I learned a lot and will repeat several lessons to learn more. Thank you for all the information and so well structured. It was great, this course developed by you!
Drawing in the Soul is the most important class I’ve taken so far in my art journey. I had no idea how to draw, but I knew instinctually if I was going to break rules by being an expressive artist, that I first needed to learn the rules.
I’ve referred back to these lessons many times, to add to my knowledge base. Juna designed a course scales above the typical standard “watch me”-structure that most art teachers do. Her interactions are more than glib social media responses: she goes under that superficiality and targets her comments on what you need to work on.
Faces are complex, you will work on them for years. Juna’s is the best foundational course you can take. There’s more packed into these twelve weeks than in a year-long course. If you want to go to the next level with your art, you have to put in the effort. Just do it!
I joined Juna Biagioni’s class The Many Faces of Charcoal with the intention of completing the 6 week course, however life/art got in the way and I found I could only complete one lesson. I must say that even though I have not advanced far with it (but I do intend to, when I can find that window of time), I found Juna’s classes really enjoyable to listen to, easy to follow, and the course well structured. Juna gives a lot of in-depth knowledge of the use of the medium, and that was what I was after. Such a beautiful instructor. The beauty of the course too, is that it is yours to keep if you find yourselves in a position that I am in. Do it! You’ll love it! Thank you, Juna and many blessings!
I absolutely loved The Many Faces of Charcoal. I’d never taken an online course before. The lessons were clear, detailed and professionally filmed. I learned to draw the face in charcoal in new and creative ways. I definitely recommend this course.
I highly recommend this class, The Many Faces of Charcoal. Juna Biagioni is a wonderful teacher. I learned so many different applications of charcoal. My favorite is working with tinted gesso background and painting with charcoal. My work has improved a lot with Juna’s excellent feedback. Her lessons are in real time and easy to follow. The supplies list is very thorough. The Facebook group is an awesome way to connect and view students drawings done in the class. I love charcoal even more!
In Juna’s courses I learned so much… I love her courses for the simplicity of learning. Although my English is not excellent, her courses are clear to understand. She is a fantastic teacher and really offers a variety of ways to use the same material. Her feedbacks are exceptional to correct errors. I definitely recommended them!
Although I have been painting with charcoal for several years, a new world opened up to me after taking the course The Many Faces of Charcoal. Juna guides you in a very professional way through the many facets and techniques of drawing and painting with charcoal and thanks to her constructive feedback she lifts you to a higher level. This was the best course I have ever taken. I recommend everyone to get started without any delay!
I absolutely loved The Many Faces of Charcoal! Juna is an excellent teacher. She explains everything very clearly and her feedback is generous and helpful to push you further along in your art journey. I feel like my portrait and charcoal skills have grown by leaps and bounds. I definitely recommend this course to all skill levels and plan to take more classes from Juna.
I learned a lot in The Many Faces of Charcoal. The course offered good explanations of the subjects and introduced me to new techniques. I’m now able to create portraits in a more free and loose style.
The Many Faces of Charcoal was the best class I have ever taken – bar none! If you are hesitating – don’t. I am a fairly experienced artist and I learned so many new techniques in this class. Charcoal is amazing, you will be astounded at what you will be able to achieve. Juna has pushed the boundaries of the medium. Sign up now!
The Many Faces of Charcoal was my first time ever using charcoal, as well as drawing faces. I had a blast learning from Juna. She is an amazing teacher! Her soothing voice through the instruction made each lesson so easy to follow and helped me to be able to accomplish each project, stress free. Her feedback right after each week’s project was so detailed and helpful, that helped me understand what to focus on next. That sets her apart from any other online classes out there!
Thank you so much Juna! Until we meet again in another classroom setting…
I’ve taken many online art classes over the years, but Juna’s class The Many Faces of Charcoal was special. She is a highly gifted instructor who brings out the best in her students. I’m especially impressed at the feedback she provides. I can’t imagine the time it must take her to respond so thoughtfully. I learned so much! She is both encouraging and challenging, a rare and beautiful combination that makes her instruction exceptional. My classmates were both beginners and more advanced, and everyone learned in the safe environment she created. I definitely grew as an artist during these last 6 weeks. I would recommend any class she offers to anyone.
The Many Faces of Charcoal was the ideal complement to my personal artistic growth that has started with Juna’s class Drawing in the Soul. What to say about Juna? She’s is patient, lovely, kind and supportive. All the lessons provide real progress to the student and at the end of the course you feel you have improved, and the fundamentals of charcoal will help you to express your ideas.
The Many Faces of Charcoal has been an amazing class. I started with little experience using charcoal products. Each week offered different techniques with the different forms of charcoal. I learned more about seeing the lights and darks in faces. Juna Biagoni teaches at a great pace, and you will find that her feedback is a most valuable learning tool for everyone. She teaches, critiques honestly and positively, and gives you the tools to continue. Best classes from the best teacher!!
The six weeks of The Many Faces of Charcoal was a very successful learning experience for me. I especially appreciated the expert teaching style and the new information regarding the supplies. I was not familiar with the properties of different charcoals, nor the use of gesso as well as additional erasers. My favorite experience was the last project where we applied both charcoal and gesso with water.
Juna’s encouragement and humble approach would lead me to recommend highly to a friend – or anyone, for that matter.
Thank you very much Juna!
I have just completed the charcoal drawing class The Many Faces of Charcoal with Juna and I can honestly say that it has been the best online art course I have taken to date.
Juna has a very professional approach, is very kind and gentle in her manner and also very respectful of everyone, regardless of where they are on their artistic journey.
I have been painting watercolour portraits for a number of years but in this course I learned techniques I had never learned before and will be able to take them into my future work.
She also simplified the portrait drawing process and I particularly liked not having to get a likeness to any reference photos we used, they were for inspiration only.
Painting with charcoal (both wet and dry) was a new experience, as was the use of the tombow mono eraser. What a magic little tool that is!
I loved the layering of charcoal and gesso, working on a textured background, scribbling with the charcoal pencil! I loved it all, so hard to pick a favourite method.
Each project is preceded by an exercise and it really is worthwhile to watch and listen to everything Juna does and says, there are some real gems and wonderful teaching as she draws or paints the project herself.
The quality feedback is also another bonus and something I haven’t experienced before.
I believe that this course is excellent value and I am excited to carry on working in charcoal and other mediums with the new skills I have gained.
I highly recommend it, it really is worthwhile.
I loved, loved this course, The Many Faces of Charcoal. I can’t believe that I am drawing beautiful portraits. You are a great teacher Juna Biagioni. Can’t wait for the next class you offer.
The Many Faces of Charcoal has changed my appreciation of charcoal from something to sketch with and make fast gestural drawings with, to valuing charcoal with its many applications as a tool for finished work worth my very best efforts and artistic ambitions.
In particular, I appreciated Juna’s teaching style as equally valuable in changing my understanding and possibilities with the use of charcoal as a tool for finished art work.
Juna’s skill as an accomplished artist along with her encouraging guidance and support allowed me to relax and invariably smile while listening to her calmly modulated instruction. I can’t recommend her teaching and particular art style enough for this type of online course.
I know I’ll be keeping an eye open for any further courses that Juna offers in the future.
Love the way of teaching by Juna and the delicate results. Her feedback is very clear and spectaculair with photo’s before and after. I had so much fun working with charcoal in several different ways and techniques. Love charcoal and Juna, I’m now addicted.
I started on this artistic journey around a year and a half ago. I was absolutely positive that I had no drawing ability and could only produce the most free-form, haphazard piece that was based on luck and lack of control. It was my good fortune to find Juna Biagioni. Her beautiful portraits inspired me and spoke louder than the negative voice in my head that said I couldn’t do this.
My background is teaching, so I know excellent teaching when I experience it. Juna is thorough in her preparation and explanations. She provides everything you need from what materials to use to how to get the best results. Because she wants her students to do their best, she also offers advice on how to take the next step to improve.
Clearly, Juna is dedicated not only to her own art, but to the individual success of each of her students. I would encourage you to take her class. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
I loved every lesson in The Many Faces of Charcoal! The videos were explained really well, and having an exercise before doing the project was really helpful getting the hang of the technique. I also loved the relaxing intro music!! Juna gives great feedback and is always here to answer your questions. I’ll definitely do the other courses.
I learned a lot in The Many Faces of Charcoal. Especially new techniques to work with charcoal. I already knew Juna from the course Drawing in the Soul, so I knew she was an excellent teacher. I can only recommend this course to all of those who want to learn how to work with charcoal. And especially those who want to learn other techniques to work with this material. I loved it!
The Many Faces of Charcoal was my first ‘in depth’ charcoal class and I learned so much about charcoal portraits. Juna introduced us to a wide range of materials and techniques. Each week the ‘warm up’ exercise eased us in to the materials and techniques and the projects were not only fun, but also left you with a sense of achievement. Juna is excellent at creating confidence and joy in creativity and she encourages you to discover the versatility of this medium. Her feedback is of a high standard, detailed, helpful and somehow always exactly what you need to help you to relax into a loose, expressive style; to learn and to progress. I would wholeheartedly recommend this stimulating class to students of any level.
I really enjoyed doing the lessons of Drawing in the Soul! Everything was very clear, even if you don’t speak English that well. Now after having done the class I want to create some portraits in a loose and bold style, and I’m confident that I will succeed!
Drawing in the Soul is a very complete course, offering not only practical exercises but also a lot of theoretical knowledge. That makes me understand what I am doing. Juna generously shares her knowledge and without restraint – I experienced that as very special. Her feedback on my work is meticulous, constructive and very educational. Sometimes she asks questions so that I have to think for myself, which means that I learn to look better at my own work. This is my second course with Juna, and it offers so much value for money. I will definitely continue doing her classes.
I took the course Drawing in the Soul as I loved the style of the drawings advertising this course. I wasn’t sure on what to expect but I took the plunge and I am so grateful that I did. The quality of videos as well as the layout of the course is outstanding. Juna’s teaching style is light hearted, calming and reassuring. Her feedback on your own work and on other people’s is extremely helpful, as I found that sometimes you see the problem but not how to fix it and Juna shows you how sometimes small changes can have big results. This is an amazing course and is for anyone wanting to learn the fundamentals of portraiture while being introduced to variety of art supplies and techniques.
Drawing in the Soul was the most amazing class I have taken. When I did the very first exercise I was just so surprised that I actually did this. In each part of each module I learned about the different profiles, the use of color, line, values and so much more. Reading the feedback from my own projects and those of the other students was the most positive and helpful learning tool. I would recommend this class to all my friends. If you are going to take a class, put this one at the top of the list.
I was drawn to Juna’s drawing style. That’s why I signed up for Drawing in the Soul. I didn’t know what to expect from it. But it was everything I had hoped for and more. She is an excellent teacher. You immediately see that a lot of time has been devoted to making the course accessible to everyone. Beautiful and clear videos about how she handles every project. In addition, there are also the e-books and the reference material. She also takes plenty of time to give you good feedback, everything has been handled very professionally.
I already had some experience with drawing a portrait, but she taught me a very different approach to drawing and painting a portrait. This was a new challenge for me. I am very satisfied with the course and I have learned a lot. One of the many things I’ve learned is that when your portrait comes in the ugly stage (everyone who followed the course knows what I mean) you mustn’t give up and trust that it’s going to be alright. And trust me it does. What I also like about this course is how everyone has a different approach to the project, you can also learn a lot from each other.
I recommend this course to anyone who wants to break free from normal portrait drawing and wants to learn a different style of drawing and painting.
Drawing in the Soul with Juna Biagioni was a truly wonderfull class, one of the best on line courses I have done. Juna shares her extensive knowledge and new techniques for creating portraits every week to build your skills base, focusing on mapping out portraits, and using value, line work, contrast and saturation with colour to produce soul in your drawings and paintings. She also offers personal, detailed critique of each project which was invaluable, demonstrating how small corrections can really improve your work and help you to ‘see’ your subject better. I could see definite growth in my art throughout the course and I will incorporate all the new techniques I learned from this course going forward. I highly recommend this course. I am sure artists of all levels will benefit from Juna’s teaching. I will definitely do more courses with Juna. ❤️❤️❤️
Drawing in the Soul is one of the best online courses I have ever taken. The clear instructions and the incredible amount of information, hints, tips, and the use of different mediums and methods was amazing! Incredible course!
I loved every lesson in The Many Faces of Charcoal. I have learned new techniques like to “draw” with an eraser, doing an underpaint with gesso to create texture, and being loose with charcoal powder. Juna is such a great teacher and her lessons are easy to follow and she gives always step-by-step instructions. I highly recommend The Many Faces of Charcoal – for everyone!
Juna is a fantastic teacher, her classes are very well structured, and she explains step by step every detail and in a very patient way. The Many Faces of Charcoal is my fourth course with her and I would take another new course with her.
I really enjoyed Juna’s course, The Many Faces of Charcoal, and I learned so much from her. I didn’t have much previous experience with charcoal but through this course, it quickly has become one of my favorite mediums. I like it that her lessons involve very light layers of charcoal on top of each other… That allows the portrait to emerge slowly, layer by layer. It’s easier for me to learn that way, plus it gives a beautiful look to the portrait. Juna’s video lessons are easy to follow along with and very thorough, and she has such a warm, pleasant way about her. My portrait skills have improved a great deal thanks to Juna! She is a wonderful teacher!
I just finished the course The Many Faces of Charcoal and it was a delight to be guided by Juna through each of the six weeks. Her teaching and video-documented step by step approach is for the beginner and experienced alike, very motivating and encouraging and I learned so much. I never knew there were so many different ways to draw with charcoal. Each week was different. The most fun for me was painting with charcoal, water and gesso, staying loose. I also liked the reference photos we used and the freedom to choose our own if we preferred. Sharing in the private Facebook group was an added bonus to learn from each other and receive direct feedback from Juna. I am still in awe of what the group participants created. I highly recommend this course.
Drawing in the Soul is a course jam-packed with techniques and art theory that has helped me improve my skills greatly. My art has evolved to a higher level and the course has helped me to loosen up and create more meaningful portraits. Juna covers many mediums from collage, charcoal, and paint. Well worth the money spent!
Juna runs the very best courses there are online and I wait with absolute longing for every new course she offers. Once again I have learned SO much in The Many Faces of Charcoal. Working with a gesso base before applying charcoal was a wonderful discovery and painting with charcoal… Well what can I say?! I couldn’t believe how much I learned. And… that applies to every single lesson. I have enrolled in all of Juna’s courses and nowadays they are the only courses I would enrol in. Juna’s way of teaching is incredibly supportive and helpful and the cameraderie which grows in the course groups is really special. Juna is a truly wonderful teacher.
The Many Faces of Charcoal is the second class I have taken with Juna. How could I resist? She is a brilliant, generous, and inspiring teacher, and I am so grateful to have found her. In her classes I have learned a huge amount of technique – who knew you could do that with charcoal? – but the value of her teaching goes far beyond technical skills. She creates a safe, supportive, and adventurous atmosphere, in which artists of all levels of experience are inspired to take risks, work hard, share, and grow. I know I will return to her lessons again and again. Thank you, Juna, for everything.
I am extremely grateful to Juna for this course, The Many Faces of Charcoal! A rich addition to what I had already learned regarding portrait drawing and for the first time in my life with charcoal! It was a shock to experience how deeply this touched me and did the course with me along the way! I have come to love this medium immensely and in the first place, through her way of education and patient clear teaching, Juna has made it so special for me. Again, thank you for your positivity and your help in this charcoal process… It was a great 6 weeks for me and learned a lot. Well worth it!
Being relatively new to the medium when I took these classes, I was a bit nervous and unsure that I could make lovely portraits. Juna’s instruction videos are interesting and thorough, and her teaching style is suited to beginners as well as more advanced students. I learned so many skills and techniques that have elevated my enjoyment and improved my art. I also learned how to use products that had previously intimidated me. I highly recommend The Many Faces of Charcoal to anyone, especially those who are unfamiliar with the diversity and pleasures of working with charcoal.
Good explanation, good guidance. Fun atmosphere in the Facebook group, always feedback. I definitely recommend The Many Faces of Charcoal.
The lessons in The Many Faces of Charcoal were fun, educational, inviting and inspiring. With good quality videos, at a calm pace and offering clear explanations.
Juna is a very good teacher. I love the fact that she took a lot of time to explain the materials we would be using in the class. She explains and demonstrates wonderfully. My object for this class, The Many Faces of Charcoal, was to have fun, learn and try to become looser as a painter. I still have work today on being looser, but I did learn and had fun doing it. What more can you ask for.
I am so delighted to write this testimonial on Juna’s course Drawing in the Soul. It was an utter joy participating in this wonderfully designed and constructed series of lessons. Juna is an amazing teacher, enabling me to relax and produce work I truly never thought I was capable of. I would do another of her courses or tutorials in a heartbeat. I hope there will be! Simply: the incredible content, structure, the sharing of techniques and resources is invaluable for complete beginners to more accomlished artists. Heartfelt thanks for this wonderful opportunity.
Drawing in the Soul was such an excellent course and I’m so very glad I took it! Juna presented everything very thoroughly and it was all so interesting. I gained a much better understanding of correct proportions in portraiture and also learned a lot about value, both things I had really wanted to learn. We got to experiment with several different mediums – charcoal, soft pastels, pastel pencils, acrylic paints, oil pastels and more. I had never used charcoal before and found a new love! There’s not a doubt in my mind that my portraits have greatly improved, thanks to Juna. Drawing in the Soul and Juna are the best of the best!
Drawing in the Soul has been one of the most enriching experiences of my creative life. Juna’s gentle and remarkable way of teaching enters through the heart and soul. I am truly amazed in what has been opened within my art practice by Juna’s exceptional method of generous soul centred teaching.
Drawing in the Soul was an excellent and very intense course. I enjoyed it very much and I learnt a lot. I am an absolute beginner in the field of portrait drawing. The study materials are very well stuctured, and Juna is an excellent artist and art teacher. She dedicated her time to this course and was ready to help any time. Juna’s feedbacks on our work are extremely useful and detailed. These feedbacks were the most valuable part of the course. Thanks, Juna!
I learned so very much in Drawing in the Soul. The lessons were very good. Even though I couldn’t keep up with the weekly schedule it’s comforting to know that I can follow each lesson again because of the lifetime access of the course. Juna is a wonderful teacher and a very talented artist.
Juna Biagioni is a talented artist and masterful teacher. In her class Drawing in the Soul she exceeded all my expectations. I was challenged, which is what I wanted, but because her feedback was so instructive and graciously delivered, I could understand how to quickly improve my art. She is the best online teacher I have come across and I am so grateful I got to be one of her students!
I am forever changed by this class. I came in as a true beginner only knowing how to make stick figures and a cube. I am so thrilled with what I have learned in Drawing in the Soul and what I now can do. Juna is a magnificent artist and shares so many wonderful techniques in this class. I want to repeat the lessons over and over because there is something so special in each lesson. I will forever be grateful that I had the honor to study with such a powerful and tender mentor. A lifechanger she is and I am so grateful!
Drawing in the Soul is a truly wonderful portrait art course. What I appreciated about it was the fact that it successfullly blended together serious drawing and painting teckniques with loads of fun. I entered the course never having used acrylic paint or pastels and with Juna’s clear instructions this was no problem. The course is geared in such a manner that whether one is highly talented and wanting to hone ones skills or one is doing it purely out of interest one will by the end of the course have improved immensely. Juna’s lessons are comprehensive and stimulating, the Facebook group is supportive and inspiring and the care and usefullness of Juna’s feedback has to be seen to be appreciated. I fully recommend this course.
I can’t say enough good about this course. Juna is a very wise, kind, and generous teacher. I was new to portraiture, and to painting when I started Drawing in the Soul. Now when I look at what I accomplished it seems like magic. Juna provided lots of technical information, and feed back that was spot on, but she also created a safe, warm, and friendly environment that gave us the courage to take risks, to make mistakes, and to share our work and learn from each other. Her video demonstrations are great, because they show not only the physical process, but also the thoughtful questioning, and searching that goes into her work. Thank you so very much Juna for starting me on this journey. I’m sure you’ll have me as a student again.
Juna Biagioni’s course Drawing in the Soul is an incredible three month learning experience. Her weekly lessons include hours of videos, PDFs, files with reference photos and supply lists. Just as valuable is Juna’s presence on the private class Facebook page. Questions are answered promptly (considering the time zones). But the most amazing aspect of the course is Juna’s supportive, detailed critiques of each student’s weekly project. And she even includes photos of each change that she suggests. I think it would be impossible to take this course and not improve! Also, Juna is very organized and very good at gently reminding students about timeframes and feedback guidelines. It’s fun to meet people from all over the world and follow everyone’s progress. I highly recommend Juna’s course.
Juna’s class Drawing in the Soul was everything I hoped for and so much more! Discovering techniques to draw viewers in emotionally has been so interesting and fun at the same time! I love Juna’s teaching methods, it has been like learning and growing with a dear friend! Thank you Juna for inspiring me to bring ‘soul’ into my portraits!
Juna Biagioni’s course Drawing in the Soul and my partaking of it, was the best possible thing I could have done for myself this year! It was more than I expected, and I learned a LOT from this course: different methods, materials, about line, colour and so much more! Juna is an excellent teacher, patient, extremely professional, and very thorough in her feedback. She is totally committed to her students and goes out of her way for them on a regular basis, always ready to answer any questions related to the course. I enjoyed the course so much that I eagerly look forward to more courses in the future with Juna. I wouldn’t miss a single one! 🙂
Drawing in the Soul is truly an amazing online experience for all level of portrait artists. Juna really put her ‘art and soul’ into creating this course. I really looked forward to Monday’s email and new lessons. Thank you again Juna for creating and sharing this fabulous journey!
Juna, your teaching technique is superior to those I’ve received during my fine arts degree. Thank you & do not change your ways. The feedbacks in Drawing in the Soul were very important for the progress. I’ve enjoyed following you and did learn some more.
Drawing in the Soul has been such an amazing learning experience. I would recommend this course to anyone who is yearning to find their artist voice.
This class is both for the beginner through to the more advanced artist. Juna is a very generous teacher who shares her knowledge so openly. She has such a gentle and calming way of approaching each subject and that has been the key for me to find my confidence and develop my skills even further.
Thank you so much for creating such an enjoyable learning and soul enriching course.
Drawing in the Soul is a course I wish everyone could take. The knowledge that Juna shares, in text, in her step by step videos, in personal messages and in her gentle and generous feedback is un-paralleled, and to be able to download the course and keep it forever is something I never anticipated. I’ve never witnessed anything even similar to this in any class I’ve ever taken – online or in person.
The scope of the course may at first seem daunting, but each week focuses on a very clearly defined goal, and those three weeks designed to allow everyone time to catch up or further develop their work, come at precisely the right moment. Week after week, I watched the portraits that my fellow students posted evolve into works of breathtaking beauty, matched by their generosity and genuine and knowledgeable feedback, a true testimony to Juna’s guidance. I’m thrilled that Drawing in the Soul will be offered again. I’ve already registered.
I have taken many online art courses through the years, and Juna Biagioni is the one of the finest teachers I have had the pleasure to study with.
In her class Drawing In the Soul I learned many technical skills in order to compose a portrait. But perhaps most importantly I learned how to let a portrait develop and come forth. I learned how not to force my developing work, to truly let its soul unfold on the paper. Juna is an incredible teacher. I loved every minute of this class and look forward to taking another course with her.
Before this online course Drawing in the Soul I didn’t know how to use any of the materials. I was a complete novice. I knew I could draw and that I had an eye for art, but I didn’t know how to start and how to express myself.
With Juna’s course we learnt to use different mediums. How to apply them and how to make them ‘speak’, how to give them soul.
The very gentle and very constructive feedback was given with empathy and sensitivity. This gave us all confidence to move forward to our next project.
I feel now the possibilities are boundless! My fingers itch to get onto another project of my own choosing.
I’m leaving this course proud of all my efforts and well supported by Juna’s encouragement.
Thank you form the bottom of my heart.
I fell in love with a course named Drawing in the Soul. It was the word ‘soul’ that drew my attention. I had the WOW-effect from the very start. It felt so inspiring.
This course was beyond my expectations. It felt as a warm cradle of artistic love and energy. I became more confident in my drawing skills and learned a lot – and not only on an artistic level.
So thank you Juna for your art, for this course, and for inspiring us all and giving us those gentle pushes to step out from our comfort zone. You are a talented artist and an amazing teacher. And I’m also grateful for all those creative minds with whom I could share this wonderful experience.
From the first moment I saw Juna Biagoni’s work I was mezmerized. She seemed to me a sculptor, where beautiful faces and features appeared from nowhere. I signed up immediately for Drawing in the Soul and counted the days until the class began.
I have not been disappointed. I now can, even as a beginner, have faces appear that surprise and delight me. Juna’s ability to teach is superb. She is thorough, generous in her sharing and the range of projects in the class is fantastic. The best part is her gentleness and support in her feedback. I know of no other class where the feedback is so detailed and thorough. Juna’s feedback draws you to your next step, shows you what you are headed.
Drawing in the Soul has completing changed my ability to see. This is the only class where I have actually faced my resistance, even though I was over my head as a beginner and did the assignments. I adore Juna Biagoni. I am so grateful. There is no one better.
Totally loved Juna’s class Drawing in the Soul. I learned how to draw faces. I highly recommend this on-line class!
I saw one of Juna’s videos on YouTube and my gut feeling said: YES!!! Drawing in the Soul is so awesome and highly recommendable.
The structure of the course teaches you all you ever wanted to know about drawing & painting faces: all about different profiles, the features, and how to use different art supplies. A mixture of playful and challenging lessons.
I learned a lot, especially via the direct feedback. Thank you so much, Juna, for this incredible course!!
Juna’s online class Drawing in the Soul is very thorough and well organized. I enjoyed learning about new mediums and watching Juna do her magic.
The thing I appreciated the most, though, was how Juna viewed and critiqued our work so we could learn from our mistakes. I do not know of any other online class where this occurs, and look forward to taking future classes.
I would highly recommend this class, Drawing in the Soul! The material is very comprehensive about drawing, painting, color etc. The videos and pdfs are very professionally done and Juna is a great teacher! Her feedback is always kind but very insightful too, another lesson in itself.
It was an excellent enjoyable learning experience and I look forward to her offering other classes as well.
I cannot thank you enough Juna for this wonderful course, Drawing in the Soul. I have learned so much and I feel so much more confident about my own work.
Your teaching style is wonderful. Detailed yet concise, so learning is made clear and accessible. But above all your warmth and support have inspired and encouraged me throughout every week.
I am still astounded by how much detailed and helpful feedback you have given to each one of us. The feedback you gave me opened my eyes – not just to errors I was unaware of, but also to countless ways I could improve my own art. I have taken several online art courses but nothing comes anywhere near yours.
I would recommend it to everyone and my only sorrow is that it has to come to an end. Please do more courses… Your work is stunningly beautiful and I long to learn more from you. Thank you so much.
I could not have imagined nor grasped the depth of Juna’s ability to teach so completely the skills of drawing and painting that I have gleaned from Drawing in the Soul. As I watch the video’s and follow along with the abundant pdf’s, I continue to learn more and more each time. Because the entire series is downloadable, I will continue to perfect a skill I thought I could never have.
Juna’s artistic talent is shadowed by no one, other than herself, as her organizational skills in presenting the material are the best I have ever encountered. Easy to follow instructions made this course the best investment I have ever made. I look forward to using this course for years to come for my own artist improvement and wait patiently for future teaching series to come from Juna. It’s All Here! In 4 modules. Thank you Juna for showing us that art can be learned!
Drawing in the Soul is a great course for everyone! Learning step by step with each module. In-depth-lessons and videos, very good explanations and detailed handouts. I love and enjoy this course – Juna is a great teacher and I highly recommend this course!
Having never done anything like portraits but loving Juna’s, I was delighted to try Drawing in the Soul. I have learned many things and also to step outside the box. By using so many different materials in one project the outcome is amazing. Love the fact you can do this at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home. Big thank you Juna, loved it all, xxx
In the vein of “teach a man to fish & he can feed himself for life”, Juna teaches her students how to SEE and how to EVALUATE their own work through her thoughtfully constructed lesson plan and detailed individual feedback. The skills and theory learned in Drawing in the Soul are easily transferable to other media and subject matter.
I would instantly and without hesitation, recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to draw more realistic portraits.
I would like to commend Juna for the beautifully crafted course she has created. Drawing in the Soul was easy to follow, the feedback on your progress is great and the feeling you get from being part of the class makes this an unusually rich web experience.
The beautiful mark making style and diversity of materials are as challenging as you want them to be. There is no pressure to achieve, this is a course to enjoy at your own speed and explore artistic possibilities.
Highly recommended! I am suggesting it to members of our pastel society!
Drawing in the Soul is the best portrait class anyone could ever take. The amount of content is enormous and Juna’s very detailed and gentle style of teaching – not to mention her critiques on Facebook – are unbelievable.
I have learned so much. When looking at someone’s face now whether on TV or in person, I can’t help but notice their features and the way the light falls casting shadows. We also learnt different techniques, ones I’d never heard of.
This course will stay with me for ever. Thank you Juna x
Drawing in the Soul is a fabulous course. Well organised, inspiring lessons, lots of feedback, a very safe and positive group atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised by the videos that provided explanations of the different materials we worked with, and learned a lot about how to handle them and work with them.
Drawing in the Soul is jam-packed with videos and prompts to help you paint & draw soulful portraits in lots of various techniques. It was such fun to follow along, always supported by Juna’s detailed feedback. She is a such a generous and extraordinary teacher!
Juna is both an amazing artist and teacher. Both the video lessons and written instruction in Drawing in the Soul were so well thought out and helpful. She was so generous in sharing her knowledge and technique and letting her students in on her process. A wonderful blend of technical skill and ‘soul’. Just look at her art and you will see. You will not be disappointed if you take this class, no matter what level artist you are!
Drawing in the Soul was one of the best portrait classes I have taken online. Learning the full front view, side view, and 3/4 view were tough but through Juna’s very detailed critique it was so easy to fix what wasn’t quite right.
I have gained so much from this 12 week course. The awesome artists in the Facebook group were there to help too or just encourage us. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn portraits.
I am blown away by how simple and well structured Drawing in the Soul is. I have learned so much about drawing and painting portraits. The lessons are clear and well explained.
Juna Biagioni is one incredible person, she really has put her heart into this class. The feedback she provides is detailed and really makes you ‘see’. I would recommend this course 100%.
Drawing in the Soul is by far the best class I’ve ever taken. The professional videos, PDFs and critiques have been incredible! This will be a class I go back to over and over again.
You have given my eyes the training that they were longing for. I may not draw perfectly (yet… lol) but I can now ‘see’ portraits more accurately! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Drawing in the Soul was the finest on-line art class I have taken. Juna Biagioni carefully developed this portrait class so that one lesson builds upon the other. Her class environment is extremely organized, easy to navigate and detailed with downloadable videos for further viewing.
She limits the amount of students enrolled as to give them enormous attention with critiques, which was so welcomed. Her critiques are superb. She is so technically knowledgeable that she can draw & paint on top of your photo for suggested improvements. An incredible learning tool for all participants. It was 12 weeks of challenge, growth, learning, humor and support, an amazing course!
Drawing in the Soul is a wonderful 12 week online workshop that is packed with lessons. I can highly recommend anyone who loves drawing and painting portraits to join.
Not only is Juna’s work beautiful, expressive and soulful, it is mesmerizing! Juna has a soothing voice and a calm and beautiful way of teaching art. You will love her personality and teaching style so much that it will keep making you look forward to each new week. You will not regret joining Drawing in the Soul.
Drawing in the Soul is a great course. Juna is a very good teacher who knows how to cut all the info in pieces that look doable. Her constructive criticism helps to look at your own work and see.
Although this is a portrait course, I find it helped me with all my drawings and paintings and I am now really excited about color theory.
Excellent class! I learned more in the first week of Drawing in the Soul than in all the other art classes I have taken – and that includes college classes as well. Juna’s easy to follow directions and her helpful critiques have made me a better artist and I thank her for that!
Drawing in the Soul is the most well done course ever. Juna is the most perfect teacher and so brilliant and kind and so talent. This is the best course I have taken, and I have taken many. So I recommend you to sign up for this. It is like a dream and you will just be there and never wake up.
Thank you Juna Biagioni for this time. I will take more classes/courses from you in the future. You are the BEST. A real Deal.
Impossible for me to determine what lesson of Drawing in the Soul I’ve enjoyed more. Each lesson was a wonderful discovery that taught me a lot and is still teaching me. I discovered that I adore the charcoal!
Juna, thanks for helping me to overcome some emotional blocks (it was not easy, and yet I’m working on). This course has meant a lot to me. I recommend it to everybody.
On Drawing in the Soul: I’ve done many courses, but this was the first time I’ve learned so much! Not only techniques, but also the way of looking at your art. Not just ‘oh and ah’s’, but so much constructive criticism, with clear explanations.
Juna is a very good and clear teacher, with a warm heart. I’m going to miss these lessons and mentor!
