The Many Faces of Charcoal has changed my appreciation of charcoal from something to sketch with and make fast gestural drawings with, to valuing charcoal with its many applications as a tool for finished work worth my very best efforts and artistic ambitions.

In particular, I appreciated Juna’s teaching style as equally valuable in changing my understanding and possibilities with the use of charcoal as a tool for finished art work.

Juna’s skill as an accomplished artist along with her encouraging guidance and support allowed me to relax and invariably smile while listening to her calmly modulated instruction. I can’t recommend her teaching and particular art style enough for this type of online course.

I know I’ll be keeping an eye open for any further courses that Juna offers in the future.
