For this painting I used similar techniques as for my Leaves paintings, with a basis made of collage and then layers of acrylic paint on top. This painting however is more elaborate, because I also used charcoal, oil pastels and colored pencils.

I really like this painting. I love the color combination and the faded, worn look. You can see and feel the texture. And yes, you can never go wrong with elephants, such precious animals…
