I’m super excited and honored to be in the second & final selection round for the exhibition Long Live Rembrandt in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam!
Over 8,390 artworks inspired by Rembrandt were sent in, and 600 of them are now selected for the second round.
I sent in a charcoal portrait that I made last year, which was inspired by Rembrandt’s use of light and shadow.
So, this morning I’ve brought my drawing to the museum for the final selection. Next week I’ll hear if my drawing will be part of the exhibition in the Rijksmuseum. Fingers crossed!! But whether or not I’ll be selected, I’m already very honored and happy to have made it this far!
