I’ve been filming my lesson for Let’s Face It 2019 today! And I had so much fun making it! 🙂

I was asked to make a profile portrait, working with charcoal. And as you may or may not know: charcoal is one of my favorite mediums to work with! I’ve even created a six weeks class all about charcoal: The Many Faces of Charcoal. So yes, I really loved making this lesson.

I’ve tried to stay very loose and playful in my style for this portrait. I’ve also created some of that lovely texture that you can create with charcoal, making it a bit more ‘rough’ or edgy. And I love how she turned out!
