When the Dance Quiets Down – relaxing with charcoal

Sunday after the opening of my new online art shop the response was fantastic! I’m so thankful for all the wonderful reactions and support. 🙂 So yesterday I spent all day preparing, packing, and shipping prints to destinations all over the world!

In the evening I was exhausted, but still wanted to draw a little. So I just took my charcoal pencil and started drawing on the couch, relaxing and just playing around. I love this way of drawing, just having fun, with no expectations at all. And still I love the outcome…

When the Dance Quiets Down. Charcoal pencil on Fabriano Rosaspina paper. Approx. 25 x 35 cm (10 x 13.5 inch).

  1. So beautiful! Just found your website and had a nice time watching your free tutorials. It really inspires me to try other supplies than my usual. Now I need to get some pastels and charcoal 😉
